Drop Off Recycling Bins

Please could we remind users of these facilities that if the bins are full when they come to ‘drop off’ items for recycling then please do not leave them on the floor next to the Bins – please take the items home.

The facility is operated by volunteers and from experience we know that bottles get broken and clothes which are not put into the recycling bin are ‘Binned’.

The Salvation Army recently increased the size of their clothes recycling Bin and at the recent Community Association meeting, the committee agreed to a request to allow a Yorkshire Air Ambulance clothes recycling bin to be added to the drop off area for a 6- month trial.

Parking on Old Vicarage Lane

We would like to ask anyone who is using the Community Centre and finds the car park to be full not to park on the south (school) side of Old Vicarage Lane as this impedes the residents from gaining access into and from their homes.

Thank you,

Ray Newton

Facility Manager
