It seems a long time ago – 10pm September 14th 2019 when we put the towels over the pumps and called ‘Time’ and over 250 disappointed people had to leave after a fantastic weekend of fun – having enjoyed wonderful beers, gins, wines, fabulous food and music with their friends, mates and neighbours.
It has been 3 long years since we opened our doors and everyone is getting thirsty!
Save the Date September 16th and 17th and we will try to start again just where we finished.
To help everyone get into the swing again – we are trying to do our bit in these inflationary times by keeping the ticket price the same – just £5 for tickets bought in advance and £7.50 for tickets on the door.
Many things have changed during the Pandemic and Hillam and Monk Fryston have welcomed many new residents who may not know why we have such a great time. It is all about ‘making our community a place to live in – not just sleep in’ and ‘fundraising through fun’.
Any surplus funds generated are shared 50/50 between the School PTA and the Community Association to be reinvested back into our villages. For example, this year the PTA is raising money to upgrade the school IT equipment and you can also contribute directly if you wish.
To stage the event brings unavoidable costs and our generous sponsors help us to defray those. Anyone can become a sponsor from as little as £50. Sponsorship packages have a range of benefits but every sponsor is invited to the exclusive Sponsors Only event – just to get things off to a good start.
