We have a list of development projects which were brainstormed by members, volunteers and members of the public who attended our Open Public meetings in 2019. These were reviewed in 2022 after the Pandemic put the brakes on everything.

Can you help? If you would like to help us manage these projects, please contact us.

So far this year, as anyone who uses the Community Centre will see we have marked out the Car Park with parking spaces including a designated disabled parking space and a hatched no parking entrance area – cars had previously parked in front of the yellow access gates and risked being damaged.

Also  we have had a number of new instructional signs placed around the playground and recreational area advising how the facilities can be used.

Because of repeated incidents of dog waste being left in the grass Kickabout area provided for our youngsters to play football and other games, the Committee has decided not to allow dogs into the playground or on the grass recreation ground.

However, to compensate, we have removed the temporary tall wire fencing used to protect the grass from vehicle parking next to Old Vicarage Lane and the playground. We have put two picnic tables here and dog owners can use this area as we are quite happy for them to sit here with their dog whilst watching children or grandchildren in the playground.
